Urban Vault Sub-leases 16k Sq Ft Office Space In Gurugram

Coworking solutions firm Urban Vault has given on sub-lease 16,000 sq ft office space in Gurugram to Green SM, the electric ride-hailing service backed by Vietnam’s Vingroup.

Bengaluru-based Urban Vault currently has a portfolio of over 2.80 million sq ft, comprising more than 70,000 seats across 80 locations. It primarily has a presence in Bengaluru, Pune and Gurugram.

The company has partnered with Greem SM to provide managed office spaces across major cities.

To begin with, Urban Vault has delivered Green SM’s first office in India – a 16,000 sq ft managed workspace, comprising around 500 seats, on Golf Course Road, Sector 54, Gurugram.

Amal Mishra, co-founder and CEO, Urban Vault, said the company has partnered with Green SM to support the latter’s India growth journey.

“The trust placed in Urban Vault by Green SM reflects our ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, and agile workspace solutions for global enterprises entering India,” he told reporters here late Tuesday.

Mishra said the company currently has only one co-working centre in Delhi-NCR, but it is in talks to open more facilities in Gurugram and Noida.

He noted that the demand for flexible managed office space is strong across tier I cities. The CEO added that the demand in tier II cities is very low currently, but he hoped the situation would improve gradually.

“India is a strategic market for Green SM and as we build our presence across the country, having a reliable workspace partner is essential. Urban Vault’s ability to provide fully managed, flexible, and scalable office solutions across key cities aligns perfectly with our expansion plans,” Green SM India CEO Bach Tuan Anh said in a statement.

According to Colliers India, co-working operators took on lease 3.9 million sq ft office space from developers in January-March 2026, a 77 per cent rise annually, to establish their centres and meet the rising demand of flexible workstations from enterprises.
